Ingredients Breakdown

When it comes to maximising athletic performance, especially building muscle and gaining strength, an ample supple of carbohydrates should be staple in your nutrition program. 

Carb10™ - Carb10 is a low-glycemic resistant starch derived from peas that is gluten free, non-gmo and non-allergenic. Carb10 passes rapidly through the stomach, yet results in a very minimal blood sugar response. It will not cause gastric distress or drastically spoke insulin levels. Carb10 will provide you with sustained energy that lasts the entire workout.

Cluster Dextrin™ - The second carbohydrate source in Demo Day is Cluster Dextrin, also known as Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin. Similar to Carb10, Cluster Dextrin quickly passes through the stomach and slows down once it reaches the small intestine. Therefore, it does not cause gastrointestinal discomfort or drastic spikes in blood sugar or insulin. Studies show that consuming Cluster Dextrin significantly increases endurance more than other carbohydrate-containing beverages.

L-Taurine - Taurine is involved in multiple physiological processes, but in regards to exercise, it's most notably involved in the regulation of calcium in both skeletal and cardiac muscle cells. Calcium is essential for carrying out muscular contractions, so without sufficient levels, your performance will significantly decline. Supplementing with taurine can improve muscular endurance, recovery, insulin sensitivity, muscle force and glycogen re-synthesis. 

Hydromax® -  Hydromax is a stabilised form of glycerol. Glycerol is a sugar alcohol which promotes muscle pumps and performance by increasing water retention in the muscle cells. Since glycerol has extremely powerful water-attracting properties, it can leave your body in a hyper-hydrated state. This is extremely advantageous for those who sweat a lot or even exercise in hot, humid environments. It is well established that hydration can negatively impact exercise performance, regardless of what activity you're performing. 

Palatinose® -  Palatinose is the third and final carbohydrate source a in Demo Day. It is a naturally sourced carbohydrate that is considered to be a better alternative to traditional sugars. Palatinose has a mild sweetness and is very hygroscopic, meaning it helps to naturally sweeten and extend the shelf-life of Demo Day. Palatinose also promotes fat oxidation, extends energy levels and may improve your overall metabolism.

Cinnamon Bark - Cinnamon Bark Extract is considered to be a natural glucose disposal agent. In other words it helps lower blood glucose levels by promoting the uptake of glucose by your cells. It will help direct the carbohydrates from Carb10, Cluster Dextrin and Palatinose to the muscles where they can be used for fuel during your workout. 

Alpha Lipoic Acid - ALA is an organic compound that serves as a powerful antioxidant in the human body. It is primarily found in the mitochondria where it helps convert nutrients into energy.
